I like the concept, though the momentum seems very difficult to manage. If the vessel is stationary, does the 'around' mode cause it to perform a perfect orbit? Or does it just give it a bit of lateral movement?
A downloadable game for Windows
You are the central point. You control a vessel.
Move the vessel towards and around you, use momentum and switch movement modes at appropriate moments, to collide it with 'good' vessels and prevent it from colliding with 'bad' ones.

Actually 'around and away' would be a more precise description, the orbit's radius is increasing (allowing you to move away from the center as well as turn). It takes a few minutes to get the hang of maintaining momentum. The best way to build speed is to move away from the center, then switch modes and hold the button to move yourself towards the center and let go of it just before you touch the center ( so it doesn't slow you down on the other side). Once you pass the center, switch modes again to turn as needed. Generally, you need to switch modes often to adjust your trajectory.
